Who We ARe

The Transfiguration Baptist Church Youth Ministry is HYPE. At times this acronym stands for His Youth with Purposeful Elevation and at other times it stands for Honoring Youth with Praise and Encouragement. In either case, the youth ministry serves young people from toddlers to High School aged students by helping them to grow in their faith through Sunday School, weekly Youth Worship services, Bible Study, and events that bring the truth of the gospel within their grasp.

We encourage and challenge our young people to live out the principles of the Bible so that they become leaders and cultural influencers in their schools, communities, families, and the church.

what we do

Our vision is for every one of our youth to be able to recognize and hear the Holy Spirit, that mirrors Christ which lives within them.

Our Youth, consisting of children between the ages of 4 and 18, engage in activities that provide spiritual growth, community cognizance, and personal productivity.

Our Activities: Children’s church, Praise dance, Game night, Movie night, Children’s choir, Financial literacy, Outings, Physical activities, Mindfulness
